IDMT.IN had taken up the project of promoting “Olly and Hockey”. Nothing was too small and nothing was too big for the person/organization with passion.
Odisha is a small state, Bhubaneswar is a small city and IDMT.IN the smallest digital media, marketing, and management institute in the world, but we had taken up the challenging assignment. And on the occasion, we were united and supported each other to take Odisha to new heights.
We at IDMT.IN intend to make Olly the face of India’s and Odisha’s unity, love of sports, and peace. We wished to connect people across nations through this mascot. Olly’s cartoon version was promoted as a goodwill sports ambassador and the icon of the state. We were sure that Olly’s new avatar was to unite people from all walks of life and ignite their minds.

The idea was to create awareness for the conservation of the Olive Ridley turtles and the preservation of the ‘World Heritage Site’ of the Olive Ridley turtle. These turtles are an endangered species that migrate from the Pacific and the Indian Ocean to Gahirmatha, the world’s biggest nesting place in Odisha. This will encourage the youth to take an interest in Olive Ridley turtles and Hockey through animation and blogging.
